Thank you for your interest in the Northwest Adventist Christian School!! We realize how important it is for you to find the best learning environment for your child and are delighted you are considering Northwest Adventist Christian School!

Families come to Northwest Adventist Christian School for a variety of reasons. Northwest is great for parents seeking a place where their children will be cherished and challenged rather than lost in the crowd. A small class size instills a positive learning environment.  The atmosphere at Northwest is Christ-centered, fostering a positive link between home, church, and school.

Northwest has several features that set it apart from a standard large school:

• Our setting allows a more careful assessment of the needs, strengths, and weaknesses of each student.
• The mix of ages and abilities makes a more family-like atmosphere. Hence, meaningful, long-lasting friendships form.
• Volunteers provide hands-on guidance and assist with learning advanced science and math concepts.
• Free after-school tutoring is available, as well as Christ-centered youth groups.
• We have greater flexibility of field trips, projects, and special activities.
• Older students peer tutor younger students, learning key leadership and cooperation skills in the process.
• A philosophy of community outreach reinforces Christ-like principles.

We believe in an individual learning approach. It is critical that we get to know each student on an individual basis and set unique education goals for them that are linked to classroom instruction. In order for students to succeed, students, parents, and educators must work together as a team. Every day, students are involved in a variety of subjects. In all areas of study, they are encouraged to discover joy in God’s creation.
